Air leak?

Ok so I'm an amateur and I post a lot of questions on here. But in my 383 stroker, when it gets up to operating temp, it's makes a noise that sounds like air leaking out. Not a steady sound, but imagine pumping a bicycle pump in short bursts rapidly but isn't connected to the tire kinda sound. Any ideas on what it could be? It's made that sound ever since I started the darn engine after I dropped it in 3 years ago and I've been chasing ever since. HELP ME! I'm going nuts...

Oh and to add to it, I put in the recommended spark plugs from the manufacturer thinking it could solve it, nope. And it's only coming from the driver side head, kinda near the location of the spark plugs.

Are you using gasketed plugs or tapered? What heads are you using? It's possible (hopefully not) that you have a crack around a plug hole that is small when the enegine is cold but will get larger after it warms up.

I'm not sure cuz I keep replacing them thinking maybe that's the problem unless I keep blowing them?

They're gasket plugs. I'm not sure what heads they are because it's a crate engine and it didn't come with a build sheet.

Are you sure you're compressing the gasket when tightening the plugs? Sometimes it feels tight, but it's not seating/sealing.

I think so? I tighten them until they're tight and that's it because I'm afraid to over tighten
