air oil separator
i am thinking about using an air oil seperator to eliminate some blow by, and i was wondering if i used this air oil seperator will i need a vaccum pump?

Hmmm. After reading their description stating
Designed for vehicles with positive crankcase ventilation systems I'd assume that it went in the PCV hose. I have a similar one called a "condensator". Works great, although it's a full quart size. (and about 30 years old!) Checked it a few days ago and it's about a third full now.  Mark

I made one out of a 3" jam jar, i drilled two holes in the lid and put two metal tubes through, tack welded them and sealed with JB weld. I also tacked in some baffles on the inside of the lid to get the oil vapor to condense on. I put it inline with the PCV valve. Seems to work so far!
