Air Shocks dry rotting?
 

Haven't had these under the car too long and they are splitting and in a couple spots bulging like they're ready to burst.

Can I replace the rubber bags or will I have to replace the whole shocks?:confused:

Not sure but what are they on are the shocks or air ride ? look like air ride to me. JMO
Either way it looks to me like you would have to replace the whole thing . IMHO

they are on a 56 chevy...air ride.

Contact Airride, or your installer if you didnt do it yourself. Definintly doesnt look good.

In most cases that i know of you have to re-place the whole thing, but i agree with the above post call airride they should be able to tell you for sure,
but i really think you will have to re-place the whole thing either way, i know the bags we put on my son's ranger you had to re-place the whole piece to fix it wasen't no changing just the bag.
