Air Shocks/Gas Shocks?

Hey Guys,

I got a 72 Skylark, it has air shocks on it now, however, i need to replace one as the bag has a pin hole in it. So I was wanting you guys' opinion, Should I replace just the one air shock? Replace both shocks with NEW air shocks, or put a pair of the heavy duty gas shocks on it? This is an every day driver, just so you know.

New air shocks are sold in least they were when I last bought some. If you are not looking to carry a load, tow a trailer or want to raise the rear end, get the gas shocks. Much better ride....and handling.

Hey man, thanks

Not really wanting to do any of those.....just gonna get some 17" powder coated steel wheels (cragers) and then doing the two tone paint on the bottom, mint metallic green on top....or all black with the mint metallic green racing stripes...should make it pop...

Thanks again
