All plastic flex fan will not tighten
the all plastic Flex-a-lite radiator fan on my SB Chevy Camaro does not tighten up enough to suite me when you try to snug the 4 bolts they move towards the outside of the oval shaped groves seems like it needs a washer with all 4 holes drilled in to tie all together.Anybody else have this problem?

 howziit guy!i have that same fan on my BBC. i'm running the supplied washers, and if the bolts are moving outward, i'm not concerned about it. FWIW, if it bothers ya, just install a water pump shim, as an external washer. that's the thingamajig you described.
