almost prefect
I am building a 50 Prefect, running sbc and turbo 400 into a nissan 280zx irs.
The original floors were plywood and the seats were bolted in with 5/16 bolts and large washers. Will plywood handle modern seat belt setups or should I use 18ga steel. I was also wondering if a pickup box floor would work. |

There are several things that you can do..build your own out of 18 gauge..or the pickup floor or you can even cut a floor out of a donor car that has the driveshaft tunnel and trans cover already premade..what ever works for you..it is all good just try and make a good job of it...The donor floor might even have seat belt attachment points and such that may work for you...

almost prefect
Thanks for the advice; I believe that 18 ga will be the way to go with 1" square tubing for support underneath.
