That tangerine is a widely used color from House of Kolor, the pearl will have to be added. you can get it from any paint shop dealing with HOK products or from these guys.

As for the photoshop thing, I can't help much, havn't masterd it yet myself. Go to the virtual customs thread in the lounge and ask one of those gurus.

now that you know where to find that tangerine paint, if you're still wondering how to use paint shop pro, i think i can help.

you're probably running into the color problem because you first must create a selection around the car before you change the hue (color). i don't use paint shop, but i use photoshop, and i believe these two programs work very much the same.

look for the selection tool (might be called the "lasso tool"), then trace the outline of the car until you've made a complete path around the perimeter. now try changing the hue.

good luck. if you can't get it to work, i'd be happy to do it for you free of charge - email me at

I use Photoshop, too ... and a quicky version of changing color would be to use "Command + U" (on a MAC) - a new window comes up where you can change the hue of the entire picture, but watch the body color change until you get it where you want. NOTE : You must first have the layer in question *selected* in the layers palette.

Otherwise, I would use the Polygonal Lasso (click and hold the lasso tool to see) ... the Polygonal lets you click here, then here, then here, as you work your way around - which allows you to rest! With the regular Lasso you click and drag, but you can't stop (and rest) so easily.

Either way, I doubt you'll come up with anything but "something CLOSE" to the real color you want.
