Almost too hot to work in the garage

Several months ago, I was enjoying the nice weather while everyone up north still had snow on the ground. I think I made a few comments on this board about the differences we were each seeing. It must be payback time now.

Every day seems to reach 100 degrees and doesn't cool down much in the evening. If I apologize for my weather comments this past spring, will someone please send me some cooler weather?

Everything I work on gets water (sweat) spots. I'm averaging 2 sets of clothes and a couple of showers every day. Oh well...back to the garage.

"Don't sweat the details". I'll bet they meant to say, "Don't sweat on the details".

It's only been in the upper 80s here, but the humidity is 90%! I put a new glovebox lock assembly in the truck last night ... I waited until 8pm, hoping it wouldn't be as bad, but man! 20 minutes ... all I was moving was my hands! ... and the back of my hair was wringing wet! Jeeze, man! LOL!

Unbelievable.

I feel your pain. I am in Stephenville, just down 377 from you. It is a killer out there. I keep a box fan pointed at me all the time, and it makes it better. I usually can only work out in the shop during the day on weekends. The wife doesnt stand long for working in the evening.

106 today, 118 in the shop, Still need to install the exhaust fan and a window or two. Spent 32 of the last 48 hours in there boiling. Now I'm sick with heat exhaustion. Wherever you are, be carefull.

Tonight, in New Jersey, we finally got a break! My windows are all wide open and the AC is off for the first time in ... I can't remember -- weeks? months?

Ahhhhhh ... fresh air, baby!

It was 100+ in the KC area today. i went to the garage early this morning and worked on the truck. I now have the dash painted and together and the emergency brake hooked up and adjusted. I quit at about 11:00 and watched old movies the rest of the day with the wife and the dog.

I'm kinda a fat guy, so I sweat standing in the pool! I tried holding my wifes hand in a movie once. The people infront of me slipped and fell on the wet and did a half ganor over the seats and it took three days for her hand to loose the wrinkles.
