alsa corp chrome paint
Has anyone tried to use house of kolor kandy over alsa corp chrome paint? If so how did you go about it and how did it work out?

i used the mirra chrome the other day on a guitar with candy tangerene on top. i'm really not too impressed with the stuff. not only is it a process to apply, it looks more like polished aluminum and it always dulls somewhat when you clear over it. www.innate.com has some not catalyzed barrier clear that is supposed to keep this from happening but i have not tried it yet. its ok but i would never call it chrome.

my friend tried using it on a harly tank he says its PURE *****. mike

I'm waiting on another painter to finish "perfecting" it before I give it a go.
He has had nice results so far but he's still working it out. I still want the paint they use for the spray can top's on "chrome" paint.
