alt. conversion question
Hey guys, I want to install a later model GM alt. in a freinds '65 Caddy. Anywhoo, I've installed one in my Mustang race car car, but went the route without the dash light, but a diode to the ignition switch. I was wondering if there would be a way to hook this one up so the amp light still worked in the Caddy. Any suggestions? Thanx!

monitoring
Doc here
Your easiest , best bet is to install an aftermarket volt meter to monitor the output it willl hook up to source and ground anywhere in the system..pefered at the battery....unless your going for original. If that's the case you should revert to the 3 wire alternator, which should easily adapt to your stock charge light system. Doc
