Post Alternater mounting problem on SBC with headers

I just put headers on my SBC, Alternater mount will not work anybody got any ideas or have an extra mount that will work around headers, Please hurry, winters coming need to put my Jeep back on the road, just about done my frame off restoration, just need to fix alternater problem and rad problem, once thats done then it goes in for the wiring. Please hurry.

I assume your alternator is mounted right next to the heads if you are haveing this problem.

Just completed this alt. mounting task for my project. Call around and find some low mount SBC brackets, or if you have the room you can go between the valve cover mounts. Low mounts look better.

Just a few companies I know that carry these brackets are; Street & Performance (Arkansas), Alan Grove, Vintage Air, and Hot Rod Air. These company manufacture them in house. I used Street & Performance and they look great as well, likewise just about everyother street/hot rod companies.

jegs.com also sells a special mount on page 12 of their latest catalog for 22.99 made by Hooker. Dynomax also makes one.
