Arrow Alternator(1 wire vs 3 wire)

My 83 S-10 has a 1 wire alternator and a aftermarket wiring harness and I have been reading about the 3 wire setups.I had to put a relay on my elec.fan it was dropping the volts at the dash to 11.5.Now it stays up pretty good.I my have to put relays on the headlights too.My 1 wire seems to do the job but I am cofussed now. What would be better for my S-10?

Sounds like you may have already been to MadElectrical, but in case you haven't, here's the dope on 1-wire vs 3-wire -- I'd go with 3-wire :
