I recently seen on a TV show where an alternator was used two different ways. One was used to power a cooking stove with a mircowave and the other was powering an arc welder.

I need an alternator that would power an AC/Heater unit on top of my camper. I have two trucks both diesels; one is a 2002 Dodge one ton and the other is a 2003 GMC one ton.

I would appreciate any help at all to find such a high powered alternator to suit my needs.
