Alternator brackets
I have a 350 chevy engine and want to move the alternator to the left side to allow my a/c compressor go on the right side for easier installation. Can I find the neccessary alt. brackets at the salvage yard or do I have to buy new ones? If so where is a good place to purchase one? Thanks guys You've been very helpful

I guess it depends on how pretty you want it to be. The junk yard is the cheap and dirty way, or you can buy specialized brackets from the rod parts dealers. They are usually chrome and run quite a few bucks. See Street Rodder magazine.
