I've got a 51 Chevy P/U that I originally installed a 56 Bel air charging system on and need a wiring diagram to convert it to an internally regulated alternator system. Sure appreciate any help.

Here is the wire diagram for a later model Generic 3 wire internally regulated Charging system for GM.

The 3 Rd red wire is for 1981 only, disregard this wire for your application, the rest will be the same.
