Internal Alternators (Metal Fan versus Plastic Fan) ?
What is the difference between these 2 "internal" alternators?
I noticed that alt. 1 has the newer type thermal-plastic fan and the #2 has the older metal fan. Why would they be using a metal fan on an internal alternator? ![]() Alt. #1 (newer thermo-plastic fan) http://tinyurl.com/bp2vezu Alt. #2 (older style metal fan) Powermaster 17294 Powermaster 12si Style GM Alternators |
