Post Aluminum flywheel

I have a super t10 4 speed that im bolting to a sb chevy i was wondering if an aluminum flywheel would be a good idea because my stock flywheel needs resurfacing, are there any downfalls to owning an aluminum flywheel? like warping? should i buy a used one and what would be a good brand and price thanks

most used aluminum flywheels are junk, been hanging in the garage too long waiting for a sucker, if you have a good gear in the rear (410 or higher) and can't get a lot of tire under the car an aluminum wheel is ok. but for the average street car over 2800 lbs you won,t like it. if you do get one, get one with a replaceable face Hays used to market one.
