I had a 92 Camaro and that the gear that was in it. Had good pickup from a standstill and good top end too. If you are not worried about correct #s a 8.5 rear from any 72-75 Nova and 76-79 V8 Nova is a direct bolt in. They are called the big 10 and have a 30 spline pinion and 28 or 30 spline axles. Just as tough as a 12 bolt.
