I have a goal with my truck, NO reproduction parts. Of course this is almost impossible, but I will be close. So far, just the rubber pieces is all I will need, bearings and seals, that sort of thing and of course paint.
But most stuff can be found used or NOS.
I honestly have next to zero interest in the "manufacturers hall" at the Goodguys shows. Booth after booth after booth of billet this or that, of a/c set ups, steering columns, I don't get it. I can see the need for ONE of these things so I understand the need to go looking for ONE of them when you are building a car. But so often the entire car is being made from the catalogs, I don't get it, I just don't get it.
