Hi gang, I need to upgrade my ford 9in. drum brakes (small bolt pattern-68 t bird) to disc brakes. Have factory disc up front and need info as to what will adapt - new or bone yard parts and what size disc. would be recommended . Thanks all---George

I know you'all are going to holler, but a company named STREETROD MANUFACTURING makes some inexpesive brackes for almost every rear end, that use GM calipers. If you want a parking brake (a must in Tx. for inspection sticker)you use the rear calipers from an Olds Toronado or Riviera--if not you use the frt. calipers, which you can get over the counter loaded or from the" bone yard".SPEEDWAY may also carry these kits.
