Amateur Traction Bar Question

Hello Everyone!
I've just purchase one Lakewood Universal Traction Bar #20470 for my 1970 1/2 Camaro SS.

I don't have experience with Traction Bars and in the installation sheet provided with part, it doesn't mention to which direction it should be installed?

I want to know if the side with the snobber should face the front of the car or the rear??

Thanks for your assistance.
