amc 327 intake question

to anyone that can help. i have a 1964 amc rambler Ambassador with a 327 engine. it is a stock two barrel intake and i want to upgrade to a 4 barrel. does any one know how i can get hold of a four barrel intake. thank u for ur time

You have very few options. That engine shares nothing in common with the later engines which had many speed parts available. 2 options would be to find a Rambler specialist that may have an original intake, check the speed part section of Hemmings, there are several shops that deal in antiquated/obsolete intakes. If they don't have one they will attempt to locate one. Finally, I believe it has and old style intake and a separate vallet cover. This lends itself to some easy fabrication by anyone that can work aluminum and weld it.

One on ebay, possibly salvaged from the titanic judging from the rust, nothing sand blasting cant fix.
