Amc 360 motor problems.

Car ran fine went to put gas in it. Went up over a hill got on it a little bit. Motor popped through the carb. Wont start now? HELp

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,...

Generally speakin' in my experience, poppin' through the carb is caused by a Lean condition,...

Could be crap in the tank, bad fuel lines, a dyin' fuel pump, or just plain ole Crud in the carb...
Checkin', 'n changin' any, 'n all the fuel Filters will give ya a handle on exactly Where the issue might be,...

'n like vinniekq2 says, ya need fuel, fire, compression, 'n All at the Right Time for any motor to Run,...

You'll have to check, 'n see which 1 of the 4 yer missin'....

Those love to pop timing chains. See if it is anywhere near close to being it time. Pull the distributor cap and crank it, see if the rotor is turning
