Yep there are people who work their whole lives in the entertainment industry that won't do what he did in one year. I was talking to my wife about "at least" he was 82 and not in the prime of his career when it hit me, EVERY year since he was about 23 has been the "prime" of this career! The guy was a business/entertainment industry genius!

They did a tribute to him yesterday on XM radio. One of the things the DJ had to say and this DJ has been around forever, "I have never heard of a cross word of him or from him." Not many of us can say that. R.I.P., Dick Clark.

Yup Dan, I have been hearing the same from everyone they have interviewed. Someone even said today that "He was so American, the Flag should be at half-mast !" I tend to agree - - - maybe we should have a Dick Clark Holiday since we since we celebrate lesser Americans with one. That's probably gonna get me in trouble - - oh well.

I whole heartedly agree! I would like to see this happen, I would like to see a few streets named for him also.
