It's with a sad but almost grateful feeling that I post this notice of Miss Annette Funicello's passing. It hasn't been 2 weeks that I went to her Website and watched the Video that her Husband had posted because he felt she would have wanted her fans to know the devastation of Multiple Sclerosis that she has been living with and fighting for so many years. My heartfelt condolences to her Family and Fans. May she finally Rest In Peace. Thanks for the memories Annette.
:( sad day indeed especially with all the years she suffered, very sad. RIP Annette. :(

RIP Annette......MS is such a terrible thing....Imagine, having a sharp mind and not being able to do anything with your body....I think I would prefer it the other way around.

After I watched the Video her husband had posted on her (their) website I was kinda sorry I watched but, now, after her passing it is comforting to me. I told my Wife not to watch it because she doesn't take these things well, especially after the recent hard loss of her sister with Cancer. All I can say is that her husband was a loving and caring partner that took care of her every single day and he should have a special place in the hereafter right next to her, now healthy, side.

We have a Network called "THIS" and they showed several Annette movies yesterday. I watched the better part of 4 and one called, Thunder Alley, with Fabian and Diane Bain that I had never seen before (how did that happen?:D)
Anyhow, I told the Wiffy that Mz. Annette looked as beautiful as I had ever seen her in that particular movie and she agreed. She had that young woman glow instead of the Teenage Bobbie Soxer that we all fell in love with. Of course we loved her throughout her career and will miss her forever.
