Annoying trans leak

I have a th350 that has a slow trans fluid leak. At first I thought it was the pan gasket, so I replaced that. The trans is still leaking, its no alot of fluid, but I would like to fix the problem.

The fluid is leaking out of the shifter input shaft on the driver side of trans. could my level be to high? the dipstick with the car warmed up in park shows right on the money. Is there a o-ring or seal that needs to be replaced?

any help would be great!

Common problem ...

and a easy fix too ...

KD tools makes this seal remover ... removes the seal easily without having to remove anything but the shift lever itself ... about 10 or 15 dollars NEW ...
Mine was about 4 or 5 dollars new ... a long time ago ...

Found this one ... on the BAY ...

Cheap .... and it is NOT my auction nor do I know the guy ... just a heads up but the auction does give the KD part # for the tool ... #2393 ... so you can get one local if you so wish ...

The seal is a common seal ... for all aluminum PG, Turbo 350's, Turbo 400's and even the 700R4's ...

My GM dealer has them ... cheap ...

You will find the tool mentioned does not fit most aluminum power glide shift shaft seal.....

different size shaft and shift linkage setup.
