Take some sheet stock - a little bend here, a little bend there, a little tap here, a little tap there, a little cut here, a little cut there, a little weld here, a little weld there, a little bondo here, a little bondo there, primer, paint, polish, NOTHING TO IT.

Seriously, if you can chop a four door I think that is doable with your skills.

Clean, straight and very smooth but not chopped. There is a lot of work and goodies in that car that you don't notice at first glance.

I'm going to hijack my own thread here for a minute : I'm still busy doing the final sanding and body work , BUT, hopefully next I'll put the engine back in ( again ), and get on to building this thing ! SO........ where or who sells the R V cam , at the best price ????? I did check at COMP CAMS , but they want like $300 plus $500 for lifters ! I need something a whole lot cheaper !.............thanks...........almost forgot : it's for '85 318 (lean burn ) with hyd rollers

I'm putting the flush door handles in from a '92 Crhysler, with the latch assy from a '85 5th Ave......The handle from the '92 have lights in the keyhole lock. What turns them on , and how long do they stay on ?

the car is a '48 Dodge, the flush handles are from a '93 or '92 LHS Chrysler headed for the crusher, latches are from a '85 5th Ave ( free). The latches are bumped out into the door jam area to allow space inside for the original window channels. Where these will end up, depends on what window operators I use, hopefully, electric from the '85,,for now it's only temporary. next I will move on to finishing some more body mods and getting it ready for some 'flat black'.....

thanks 'brew' , for the opinion. as far a journal, maybe, but for now, just be glad I figured out how to post these !! I do have more pictures that are not in this post .
