Another compressor question!!!
I know we've beat this dead horse before but I need to know about
the loudness factor. Someone on a previous thread made the statement that a two stage is quieter than a single stage, does anybody know if this is really true? |

After all the mail I sent yout today???
Jim you just like making threads dont you??I think it depends on thr RPM a compressor turns, whether or not it is belt driven.. Less rpm is better as long as it pumps out enough cfm. Matthew |

My Ingersoll-Rand T30 is 2 stage and belt driven, when it comes on, you hope your not on the phone in the shop area. You can not hear over it.

Yes Bondoqueen, I love making threads, always starting something.
I have a direct drive compressor now and it's so loud it hurts! I'm really looking at the Eaton for the slower rpm's and being less noisy. Anyone out there here these compressors run? I shure would like to hear what you think, or hear. :-) |

I will sell it to you Jim for 100 dollars less than I paid for it... what a bargain for you!!! Already has the oil in it and everything!! Go with the Eaton bro, you know I am sending you all my work until my collar bone is healed up... That is allot of overall's which will more than pay for the compressor.. |

I can't do overalls, my compressor is not big enough.
And I can't hear you because it's running (all the time)!!!!! You're the man with all the work (and talent) which means MONEY. Just lend me the money now and I'll pay you back when I get the work...... |
