Another cooler line question

Ive searched around and read some other posts but didnt really see what im looking for. I recently purchased a TCI streetfighter TH-400. The tapped holes in the case for the cooler lines are 1/4" NPT ? correct. Where as the factory case has the inverted flare fittings. My question is would I be able to use these adapters

Then finish off with 5/16" steel line? I would think this adapter would restrict the flow. Any recomendations or input is greatly appreciated

I go to a local NAPA store for the more common needed brass fittings I need as the other parts places don't carry much or the rpice is too high. The local hardware store (True Value) has a HUGE selection of small stuff but not most of these type adapters.

The price of that fitting is higher than local, plus they will add a packaging and handling charge.
