Another Cruise

The big cruise that is usually held the first Friday of every month was cancelled this month (church had another event), so I checked out a different cruise and another church a few miles away. They had about 100 cars, not bad for their first event! I forgot my camera, but took some pics with my phone...

Here's a Chevy sporting a Chrysler Hemi and a few more. Pics were taken early - more cars showed up later, but I didn't make another pass for pictures. I passed up taking pics of some cars I've seen before. What should be a larger show coming up next Saturday - this one is on the north end of town (I live south), so I'm hoping to see some cars I don't usually see. I'll be sure to pack my camera!

I'll have to take more engine pics - I've seen a number of SBCs, but also a good variety of others.

Looks great Bob...I like the Hemi in the Chevy...I'm starting to enjoy that...It started out that you put anything big into anything small...then it used to be a sin to put anything but a SBC or a BBC in anything....I hope it's open season and you can put whatever you want into whatever you want as long as it's done tastefully. Love the 37 Chevy Coupe too.

There are still a lot of chevys in everything (I have one in my '33 Ford ), but I'm seeing a lot of other things too. I have even seen Fords... with Fords in them! Can you believe it?

Yep, I realize that you have a SBC in your 33...that's great, love it. It's just good to see engines from different manufacturer's in different car's...that being said...I don't know if I could get my head around some combinations...Like a Ford engine in a Firebird, Cutlass or Road Runner...maybe I'm a bit of a hypocrite...LOL

Love seeing the get togethers like this. I have fell upon a few on my road trips with the family and they are always a good time to see cars you don't see around here at every get together.

I love this Chevy, always have.

Yes the Hemi in the 56 is a kick. I remember hanging out around a 50ish Chevy once at a Goodguys that had a 440 Dodge motor in it. The Chevy guys were about throwing up when they saw it! LOL, I couldn't believe how they were acting and what they were saying. Geeeez.
