Post another flame question

since ive seen two flame job questions,i figured id give my question a go.my question is how do you get the flames to fade off?light spray?sanding?thanks for any help.

How do you mean, fade into another color? That is done like youy said, with light spray.

no i meant the same color but thanks for the response,i figured that was the way it was done.maybe 75 percent thinner,and 25 percent paint mixture would do the trick.im just not sure how everyone does it.thanks for the help

You have the right idea about the flame fade out. Start on the area where you want the color to be the strongest and sucessively work away from that point one light coat at a time with the overthinned color. Try some test panels first as some colors do not respond well to alot of overthinning.

Oh I forgot to say do NOT sand between coats or you'll ruin what you started.
