Another PineyWoods Newbie....

Hello to all. Been lurking on the board for a few months and am amazed at the knowledge to be found here and how freely it is passed along.
Not exactly a newbie to cars, old-time gearhead but been out of it for years. Now that I am retired I'm hoping to get back into rodding of some sort.

Have my eye on a very nice El Camino but have a new Dakota truck and my old Dak is sitting there just begging for a Hemi

My hot rodding days were back in the 50's and 60's so I have a lot of catching up to do. First I have to get my shop set back up though.......

Glad to be onboard and hope you guys can put up with my dumb questions.

Welcome to the site jray. Good to hear you are getting back in the saddle. Parts, tools and techniques may have changed but good old creativeity and ingenuity are still what it is all about.

Check out the Knowledge Base or use the search function for quick answers to your questions. Also check out the Project Journals. Maybe you want to start one of your own and we can all follow along with the build. Good luck with your next project.
