Another plug idea

I was looking at this, and if it works, I think it's grand. They'll even send a free plug to try in lawnmowers so you know it works (if it works). LINK

I emailed them and the plugs are redone in Lakewood, Colorado. They use Autolite and NGK plugs.

new plug Idea

So I put in the newest hi-zoot iridium plugs,(increased mileage by 15%) added the magnetic fuel conditioner, (another 20%) installed the little swirly-thing to give my intake a swirly-mix, (a further 20%) a special air cleaner, (15%) the hydrogen-fusion thingy (almost 40%) the top-secret frmulation stuff I added to the oil (another 40%) and then I topped it all off with the "extractor exhaust". (another 25%) All went well until I used this new kind of plug and that's when the EPA got me!

Seems they objected to the way my gas tank kept filling up and overflowing all over the ground as I drove down the street!

You should have been selling the gas back to the gas stations, like we do with electricity!

Dave, I get 20 mpg now with my v6. If I could get your results I would be getting 93.31 mpg. I have a siphoning hose to keep down the over flow.

Pfft a drilled hole in the ground electrode...I tried this way back in HS.

Doesn't work and if the electrode overheats due to preignition the tip falls off! Grinding the center electrode half off is the only mod to a plug I seen that actually works, oldest trick in the book.

I like the "sonic" effect they say it generates! Thats what I call creative advertising!

Adds 15HP, huh? Imagine how fast I could cut the grass with a 5.5 +15 = 20.5HP lawn mower! Or how long I could put off actually having to cut it in the first place!! Maybe I could take the current plug out, split the ground electrode with my dikes, drill BOTH sides, and add 30HP, and only have to cut it once a year!!!

Or maybe it'd just die of sheer fright, and I'd never have to mow the stinkin stuff ever again!!!!

This is just another worthless advertising 'gimick', dave57210 said it best. Just add it to the list of worthless products being advertised, when the fuel cost's start rising.

"sonic pulse", "dyno improvement" Right.

I'll go back to sucking on my grape sucker.

(there's always just a grain of truth, {a bit of a good idea} to sucker you into any of these wiz-bang magic bullet gizmos)

the hole added to the strap increases the sharp edge surface area exposed to the mix and the hole is aligned with the perimeter of the positive electrode edge so:
it is possible that a point on the rim of the hole will have a lower resistance and the spark event can start with a lower Kv shot from the coil which can help make a bit hotter spark....
same as the "V" notch on a NGK plug strap adds some more surface edge area exposure to the mix....
or the four straps on the Bosch +4 adds alot more edge area exposure....

it's a bad idea because on every power stroke there is anywhere from 14,000psi to 20,000psi worth of dynamic pressure exposure pounding on the very ductile hot strap and the hole does mean a weaker strap....

just one ping would/could break the weakened tip off!!!!....

no thank you,,,,I will definitely pass on that one....
