Another straight axle question

I was wondering if a 47-55 chevy pickup straight axle would work under a T-bucket or model a pickup or something like that, I dont think I have seen it done, but i was just wondering can it work

It isn't a particularly good looking axle and I'm sure it would be WAY too big for a T-bucket. Why not use a model @ or late 30's axle? Can find them on ebaY all the time and they go for ~$100 or less. In fact, I have two that I am planning on putting on ebaY. Dinger gave me a very good one so I can part with these two.

Hey there, I have a front axle from I believe a '53 GMC under a trailer (truck bed converted). I sold the trailer to a buddy, but I'm sure he would let it go. I'm over here in Crossville.
