Post anouther hemi question for the ghosts

thanks for all your help last time, just wondering the best/cheapest kit to put a four speed behind my 331, perfer toploader or muncie i have a old kit for the old ford four speed but just worried about the completeness of it and the durability

You didn't say how old a Ford 4 spd, but the top loader has been around since'64-65 at least. You might check out
<a href="http://www.vintagespeed.com" target="_blank">www.vintagespeed.com</a>

and P.A.W. they are advertising adapters for hemis as well, it wouldn't be too hard to make an adapter plate for a top loader if you have a manual bellhousing for the hemi.

try keith black too. you definitely want to lose an automatic tranny. i think top loader and i think my truck, junk it for the street they dont shift fast enough

CONTACT HOTHEADS RACING AND RESEARCH, THEY HAVE A COMPLETE LIST OF ADAPTERS AVAILABLE FOR MOST EARLY HEMIS TO MOST ANY TRANSMISSION. YOU PROBABLY HAVE AN ADAPTER FOR A 32-48 FORD MANUAL TRANS, THESE WERE PRETTY COMMON MANY MOONS AGO, BUT THE FLATTY TRANNYS DONT HANDLE THE TORQUE OF THE HEMI TOO WELL.
