Ansen scattershield/clutch lever

I picked up an old Ansen scattershield to use behind the 327 in my roadster, but found out the standard Chevy stamped steel throwout arm is too wide for the hole in the side of it. Anyone know what I should be using? I could open up the hole but would rather not. Thanks for your help.

As one of the Moderators here....I would like to.

WELCOME YOU HERE.....

I had the same throwout arm problem years ago ( Many years ago ) and I found one from a V8 Nova worked for me.....it was smaller......

DISCLAIMER. : : : I got mine from the junk yard and it might not have been a factory Nova part....but I do know Nova's had a smaller bellhousing and special clutch linkage and a special clutch ball placement on the V8 Nova blocks.
