Ansen Traction Bars.

Need some expertise guys. 57 Chevy Mini-Tubbed with Currie rearend. Has Spring Re-location kit. Purchased set of Ansen Traction Bars. Aft portion where U-Bolts go around Leaf springs & rearend mounts up perfect. Forward portion of Traction Bar bracket, has a small u-shaped clamp with a tab , Bushing & pivoting Bolt, that would normally mount on Leaf Spring. Due to re-location kit, the fwd part of Leaf Spring is hidden into car frame which makes Fwd portion of Bars unable to mount. Question is this: Would there be any damage to Rearend if I welded Fwd mMunting Brkt of traction bar to car frame? Just forward of the leaf spring? So basically the Rear portion would mount correctly & to rearend for movement, & Fwd portion would be Welded or Stationary without side, frd or aft play since it will be welded to frame? Is this possible to do & have no issues with rearend or would it damage something. Thanks

Traction Bars

Not sure if they are still avail. Lucked out at Car Swap meet. Some guy must not have known what he was selling. After cleaning the crud off them & having them Powder Coated they came back to life.
