First off, those Firebirds and Camaros with rear leaf springs always rode rough on the rear, Novas too.....Plus, the air shocks just make it worse.
I would replace the airshocks with good quality gas shocks. Also, take the rear springs apart, cleaning up all the built up rust in them, put them back together with grease or teflon strips between them. If you can get away with it, take a leaf or two out....that will soften it, but handling will likely be affected
