Any Artists want to design our t-shirts and posters?

Hi there! We have a charity group here that raises money to help out families of terminally-ill and seriously ill/injured kids in southern Colorado. We're looking for paople who might be interested in designing our poster/t-shirt art for our big summer event, the HOT ROD HOMECOMING in Alamosa on July 12.
This should be a huge event, and we're expecting cars/bikes from CO/KS/NM. We can't pay for the art, but you will get huge exposure, with 5,000 fliers to be printed, posters, and t-shirts.
Anyone interested in helping us out, give me a holler, and I'll give you more info.
For those of you wanting info on the event to attend, set up vendor/striping booths, etc, check out.......

Thanks, and have a great day! Animal

You will get more response when it comes to artists if you post this in the "Hot Rod Art" forum so I'm moving this thread there.

Promoting your car show is fine but please be careful not to promote your charity in the forums.

Give me a yell........I may be able to work up something for you.
Let me know the schedule.
I am not sure what the rules are about swapping info on this site. Don't wanna get kicked off, cause I really love it.

Best to send contact details by PM.

To be perfectly straightforward, we're currently debating this thread in the mod forum, and how it fits into our solicitation policy. We technically forbid "solicitation" for charities, but whether goods/services fit into that definition isn't adequately defined. Also, how a work of art is defined as a good or a service (including the intellectual property rights to that art) is not something we've yet hammered out.

In addition, we might be implementing a new solution for organized listing of events.

Either way, the policy decision will likely come into place after this thread has passed, so you guys haven't done anything wrong, and you're good to go for now.

I'm sorry if I've caused a problem...... I was just trying to give someone a larger/different audience and potential customers while helping our event with something that the local artists just don't seem to "get", hot rod event posters. I honestly never thought there would be a hassle, or I wouldn't have posted the request.
