Any decent spray can primers
Looking to spot prime a few spots and was wondering what other might be using.
Most spots are about the size of an 8" paper plate if that helps. Getting something ready for painting and it's just faster with a spray can rather then the compressor and gun. Thanks Jimbo |
You won't get much support on aerosol cans but I have to say this 2K primer was every bit as good as most you would spray out of a gun if you ask me. http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/comp...ew-158502.html
Understand these are REAL 2K primers that cure, not "dry". Just like you would find being shot out of a gun in a shop. Don't know where to buy this exact one but most every paint company added similar primers to their lineup back a few years ago. Do you have a gun and compressor and just don't want the clean up? If that's the case, do it, using the gun and cleaning it up makes more sense than a one time use can. There is NO 1k aerosol can worth anything. Brian |
I haven't tried it but I think you can "roll" on 2K
with a common paint roller. |

They make 2k primers in a can now guys for spot priming. They are pricey, but real 2k. Just FYI. RM has one that I know of.

I don't know but those 2K aerosols that I used in my review, those suckers were VERY impressive.
