matco/snap on come to you and you get it fixed or replaced
sears pro line you go to them or send it in if your local store doesn't carry them....
THat said I've beat the living crap out of my sears.. more than you most likely will as we have the rust monster here and every ratchet has had the long pipe on the handle to break bolts loose or snap them..
I broke one and it was a swivel head, and the pin at the joint let go.. but I had a 5' pipe on it, and was bouncing all my weight on the pipe while standing on the pipe.. 220lb with 5' of leverage.. not a shock the thing let go..
as long as you oil them (I opened mine and used wheel bearing grease)
you'll most likely never have an issue with them..
