I've recently used it to clean (vs the dip) when rebuilding a couple of Holleys. That "carb dip" is pricey and the nozzle on the carb cleaner spray can be used to direct the cleaner through small orifices to do a better job (or at least acceptable I think) when cleaning during dissassembly. It will
freeze your hands though! It evaporates so fast that in cold weather (which it is here the last few days) if you bump your finger after getting the spray on your skin, you could end up with finger fragments!

Anyway, since it does evaporate so fast, even if you get some in the manifold when the car is not running, it will be evaporated quickly.
