any supercharged pickups here?

I'm looking at getting a supercharger for my 454. Anyone running one in thier pickup on a BBC? If so how big is your cowl?

I'm looking at the 177 weiand or possibly the 250 from the blower shop. Want it to fit under my hood. I currently have a 2" cowl. It rains here ALOT and if I wait for sunny days I'll drive 2 or 3 days out of the year. So either I need it to fit under a hood or put a hood scoop on backwards (look silly though). I COULD get a bigger cowl but it already feels as if I have to look around/past the tiny cowl as is. Couldn't imagine any bigger....

I saw a 68 with a big ol dual quad high rise set up clear a 2" cowl. It WAS on a 327 though..

Hey, Anyone happen to know for sure if the highest point on a SBC in a 77 C10 sits any lower than a 454? I assume so because the 454 is bigger but never know, maybe one sits lower..

Might have better luck posting your question here

I have a 74 c-10 with a blown BBC, but I don't have a cowl. Mine is just a weekend driver and it sticks through the hood. I believe a 177 will fit under the hood, with low rise air cleaner.
