for anybody building a 4x4 truck from scratch!!
do NOT use a single fan belt on your power steering pump!!! make sure you get a crank and pump pulley that will accomodate TWO BELTS on your pump, or you will be literally singing, the blues. don't bother asking how i know, but after 8 years of squeeking and then binding up, i just changed over to the two belt pulleys and WOW. why did i wait so frikin long to do it? just like brand new. found out most big cars like cadillacs also used two belts. if you run bigger tires you may have to switch as well. what a dif

Never mind just the squealing.....If you have double belts on your water pump, when that alternator belt breaks in the middle of nowhere, on a Sunday, you can at least make it to the next big town.....Don't ask me how I know.
