Anybody done the P/S Conversion on 57 Chev PU?

I'm working on a 57 chev PU and I'm having some difficulty with wheel selection.
The truck has the saginaw steering box conversion that everyone apparently does (Classic Performance). It also has the disc brake conversion and retains it's solid axle. I've just got some crap wheels and tires on now but there is very little steering radii to the right. The tire hits the steering box too soon.
So... if anyone has done this, what wheel size and offset worked for you?
Thanks!

Larry

That's the problem with a LOT OF Steering-Brakes-Suspension conversions. Not everything works out ...

If you go to a set of rims with more offset ... the steering effort will be increased ... but with the PS ... you may not notice it.

A whole lot of the time, when you change one thing, something else is in the way and then it requires a change ... and so on and so on ...
