anybody have a size for me ?

My latest project a 50 chev 4 door needs a new drive train/running gear i was going to go with S-10 but have given some thought to 80's malibu or monty/cutlass "A" body's ?

What I am looking for is the track width and the over all wheelbase either from your own cars or if you know of a website with the measurements.

Thanks for your help Brian kc0kfg

original frame, clipped with a camero suframe would do the same thing for you, but if you really want a new frame. 1977-1981 or so Imp/ caprice have been used. they have a simmilar track width, and 116" wheelbase ( 1" longer, you can deal with that, with some sheet metal work )

"G" body frames also work well. Start with a four door and adjust wheelbase.

any body have some sizes?

The imps are to wide length is no concern the s-10 and my 50 are around 60 inches but as you know s-10 are flat in the rear so i would have to do a kick-up or loose trunk space (not like there is much anyways)LOL.

how bout some real measurements from your G body's or other thoughts.

As I post this it may be a mute point Im going to the yard on Sunday I Hope to get some number's there

Thanks Brian kc0kfg
