I right now can get a brand new #4011 holley for about $100 which is a good deal and i was wondering if anybody has any experiences with these carbs i have heard good results from the #4150's but never heard much of the #4011, it'll go on a 370hp 357...any suggestions would be appreciated.
This will be on my daily driver and it doesn't matter if its vacuum or mechanical if i keep my foot out of it.I am going to have to run a 1/2 inch adapter(airgap intake(squarebore)).
Wasn't the 4010 a squarebore and the 4011 a spreadbore? I believe both use vacuum secondarys. It is a close copy of an AUTOLITE 4100 (or vicea-versa) and while a good design never really caught on.
Blow-up of a 4010. A hundred dollars is a good price.
I have a spreadbore replacement 4bbl holley for q-jets here that I took off the monte... Figured I might use it for a door stop, hows that make you holley guys feel
I'd go with the double pumper, more tunability in the fuel curve and less hassle to change squirters and pump cams than those darned springs. Everbody I've talked to seem to like the double pumpers. It's really just a matter of preference and opinion, go figure.
