Anybody used SS radiator hose kit?

I need custom radiator hose for my project. I do like the looks of universal flex hose like gates. I'm looking at some universal SS hose kit that seem too cheap. I do not want problems as this is a driver not a trailer queen. What have you had experience with?

The Cool-Flex version will last nicely, the rest - no idea but have heard of a couple of failures. I took the Cool-flex off of my '31, made up a solid replacement, using a Speedway piece, a couple pieces of silicone hose and some shrink clamps. IMO, the solid one is a better choice - FOR ME, anyhow. But it does give you an idea of an option. The bottom hose is a standard rubber hose, cut to length though could have done it the same way. Mine is painted, but could have had it chromed or powdercoated.

Before/after/connecting hose and shrink clamps (I have a worm clamp on the other end so I can disassemble if needed)

I am also a fan of the heat-shrink hose clamps - used them on radiator and heater hoses - I also used worm clamps until I was done making changes.
