anyone compare a new EPS intake to a Performer?
i have a heavy chevy truck that's under-geared and am wondering if edelbrocks claim of more HP and low end torque are true or not. anybody used one of these, preferably swapped out a performer for a new Eps intake? (204/214 at 050, stock heads/ram horn manifolds, 355cid) i currently have an RPM on it and a friend that works at chevy doesnt think it'd be worth squat to swap it out.

well i just happen to have two of them. even have a q jet that came off my stock 1973 455. spoze i'd have to re-jet it? it ran off the trailer last summer, but didn't run for years and years before-hand. they cost so much to have rebuilt.
my feelings were pretty much that you can't beat stock parts for low end off idle anything. same thing for the camshaft. should have just got a stock one of those as well Last edited by bullheimer; 02-20-2006 at 05:49 PM. |
