I need a measurement for the radiator I will be custom ordering. Downs has not been helpfully and I want to put it in before reassembling the front end. If you have one or know of someone with a '37 Downs I would appreciate any help

If I had spent the bucks on a Downs body and got no response on a very simple question, I probably would target them with some very bad PR. Bet you could find out what you need by contacting Walker Radiator. They will know what is most commonly used there and will gladly supply your needs.

Place some info in the "Company Reviews" at the top of the page so others don't run into the same problem. You might want to let Downs know about this post and the Company Review you did as well. I am sure they would like to know that almost 55,000 members now have access to their poor service.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your posts. Downs has so far been very good to me with some major problems I had. It's just this radiator size thing I'm having a problem getting an answer to. It may be that they want me to buy "their" Griffin radiator. I don't know and I would rather order "my" radiator now so I can put the front end back together. I am also not great at being the squeaky wheel.

Bill, if they have "their Griffin Radiator", then you can contact Griffin for the info and even order direct from them. Griffin has a good product: I have one in my PU and a Walker in my coupe and know you will be pleased with which ever you choose.
